Pulse Debate adds rounds: each of the first five rounds costs the base rate, rounds 6 onward are half rate. The price you see on the slider is exactly what your wallet is debited — with one exception in your favour: a debate ends as soon as the panel reaches consensus, and you are charged only for the rounds actually deliberated, so the debate figure is a maximum and the balance is returned when the study settles.
Studies are debited from a prepaid wallet, like a phone-credit balance. Free accounts get $5 of welcome credit at signup; Pro and Max top up monthly with a wallet credit grant. Wallet credit is non-refundable but rolls over while subscribed.
